Champagne Mistletoe-jito





A holiday cocktail to keep you feeling merry and bright all season long.


GLASSWARE: Highball glass



2 oz Afterglow Gin
0.75oz Fresh Lime juice
0.5oz Cranberry Simple Syrup (recipe below)
Champagne or soda water
Frozen cranberries


For the Cranberry Simple Syrup:

1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 cups frozen cranberries


GARNISH: Fresh mint leaves and frozen cranberries


  1. Lightly muddle the mint with the simple syrup in a shaker
  2. Add the Afterglow gin, lime juice and ice, and give it a brief shake
  3. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice
  4. Top with the Champagne/Sparkling Wine/ or Club Soda
  5. Garnish with 2-3 fresh mint leaves and 3-4 frozen cranberries, and enjoy!

Cranberry Simple Syrup:

  1. Combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan
  2. Heat on medium, stirring frequently, until the sugar has dissolved
  3. Add 2 cups of cranberries to the pan, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and allow the syrup to simmer for 5-10 minutes, or until the fruit begins to break down
  4. Remove from heat, strain out the cranberries and store sealed in a clean glass jar in the refrigerator. Cranberry syrup will last up to 2 weeks.
