EARL GREY MARTINI
A floral twist on a Gin Sour using our Punchy Savage Love to bring more of a botanical kick to compliment the tea.
GLASSWARE: Coupe (chilled)
INGREDIENTS:
* Note: Two ways this can be made. 1) Infused Gin method 2) Tea Syrup Method
2oz Savage Love Gin (alternative: earl grey infused gin)
0.75oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1oz Simple Syrup (alternative: earl grey syrup
1 egg white
GARNISH: Pinch Lavender buds sprinkled on top
PROCESS
Method 1 (infused gin)
Add 4 tbsp Earl Grey tea leaves into a 750 mL bottle of Savage Love gin, cap and shake. Let sit at room temperature for at least 2 hours. Strain the infused gin through a coffee filter into a separate container. Rinse out bottle to remove loose tea, and pour gin back into clean bottle. Can be stored indefinitely if refrigerated
Method 2 (Earl Grey Syrup)
Add 4 tbsp (4 teabags) per 1 Cup Sugar and 1 Cup Water and follow simple syrup recipe. Remove Tea and serve. Keeps for 1 week.
1. Chill coup glass
2. Measure and pour all ingredients into shaker.
3. Reverse Dry Shake, thus shake with ice than remove ice and dry shake before straining and pouring into glass for pillow foam effect.
4. Garnish with a pinch of lavender buds
